Every piece of my art is in some way a self-portrait; it's a reflection of who I am as an artist is, or at least who I myself as in the moment; i like when my art gives it’s viewer a glimpse at who i am: a rule breaker, a maker: damaged, loving: polyhistoric. My work is constantly informed by the art i see around me; there are two ways to be original: lock yourself in a closet and experience nothing or take as many influences as you can and synthesize them into yourself; i choose the later.
